Concept and Purpose

The idea of The Blight Campaign began as a salvaging of a video game narrative. Expect a post soon to elaborate on the details, including concept art and early draft music. The Blight Campaign is a proof of concept for a greater fantasy narrative. Whether that narrative will be developed will be determined by the reception to this post. We encourage readers to engage in the comments. Let us know what you’d like to see more of, and what could be improved upon.

  1. This is an amazing start to the story, sometimes the disjointed nature feels like someone telling you their memory or trying their best to recall the important parts.

if this doesn’t become the game you hope for ii hope that at least you continue the story, it was amazing to feel these stranger’s bodies unique pains and advantages.

would love to follow Jorjun and Syrol in their journey and see just what challenges they face while fighting for the right to retaliate, the chance to survive.

    1. Most appreciated. Admittedly, the storytelling approach here was very experimental, but as long as people are able to follow and enjoy it, I’m happy to make more entries like it. the universe is completely separated from my larger project stories, so it wouldn’t be as difficult to flesh out this as a more independent series.
